Len Bell FCA
Len Bell, an economics graduate, trained and gained professional experience with Spicer & Pegler (now absorbed by Deloitte). He gained industry experience as Finance Director of Crosville (Wales) Limited. Between 1988 and 2007, he was a main board director of the Haulfryn Group, first as Finance Director and more recently Joint Group Managing Director.
Len played a key role in developing strategy, business plans, acquisitions, disposals, finance and taxation of the Group. During this period, Operating Profit increased 10 fold. When he left the Group to set up his own business in January 2007, Haulfryn Group Chairman, Stephen Minoprio said, that Len "has been a major contributor to its [Haulfryn Group] development, growth and financial strength"
In September 2007, Paul Pleszko, Chairman of the National Caravan Council, presented Len with the NCC 'Twenty Five Year Award' at The Lawns Caravan Trade Show. He thanked Len for his excellent services to the Caravan Industry; particularly those on the NCC Finance Committee.
Between June 2008 and November 2009 Len was Group Director of Leisure at Champion Accountants. Hi main role was developing the leisure division to provide specialist services to the UK Park Home and Holiday Parks Industry.
Len joined Montpelier Chartered Accountants in December 2009 as a Regional Director heading up the Leisure Division in the North. lbell@montpeliergroup.com
